Description:

6a-2:30p / Full-Time / 40 hours

We're seeking a Assistant Nurse Manager, Cardiology Department responsible for being a capable clinician who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population and routinely uses acquired knowledge, theory, research and experience to respond to changes in clinical situations. This RN professional can apply the Synergy Model for Care in practice and use this knowledge to personalize care for each patient/family while serving as a resource to colleagues and strong advocate for them.

Number of Beds: 38
Patient Population: Cardiac stepdown unit with medically managed cardiac patients and minimally invasive cardiac procedure patients.
Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:1:4

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
Master of Science in Nursing preferred.
Five years of nursing experience.
Current RN license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board required.
BLS certification required.
