Assistant Director of Nursing

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing day-to-day nursing operations within the facility.
Ensure the highest standards of care are consistently maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Lead and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure quality care delivery.
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for the nursing team.
Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans to meet the individual needs of residents.
Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in ensuring ongoing compliance with health and safety standards.
Support and facilitate staff training and development to ensure ongoing professional growth and high standards of practice.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) with a current and valid nursing license.
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a healthcare or long-term care setting.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and nursing practices in a post-acute care environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
A compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
