Description:
Provide support to staff in processing insurance claims.
- Preparing monthly bordereau reports.
- Receiving and distribution of incoming claim documents.
- Reviewing and distributing emails via department inbox (receiver), in addition to daily maintenance of same.
- Preparing payment requests.
- Preparing all Sanctions Searches: individuals and vendors.
- Assist with processing payments-entering checks in AMS360 and IR, in addition to reviewing reserves.
- Distribution of claims payments.
- Creating Loss runs when requested.
- Assist with processing In-house claims, Subrogation.
- Maintain professional accreditation necessary to meet agency standards.
- Participate in continuing education programs when available.
- Build and maintain a favorable and professional work relationship with other staff members.
- Communicate with Supervisor/Manager any issues to ensure excellent customer service.
- Adhere to established employee manual policies and guidelines.
- Adhere to workflow procedures and follow guidelines to reduce the risk of E&O claims.
- Promptly report all E&O claims and potential E&O claims.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and agency information.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
- College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Pursuing or already have an insurance related designation.
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience with Vertafore a plus.
- Appropriate licenses and continuing education required.
- Works effectively and relates well with others including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the
company in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of organizational ability with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

The pay rate starts at $19.24/hour
