Assistant Cheesemaker
Farm Country Cheese House is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. In this position you will play a crucial role in the cheese production process, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety regulations. You will assist in all aspects of cheese production such as milling, scooping, pressing/removing cheese, cleaning equipment, cheese cutting and packaging.
Qualifications
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Qualifications
- Able to keep records in accordance with good manufacturing process, food safety regulations, and state of Michigan rules.
- Perform metal detector test
- Must have strong attention to detail, ability to multitasking, and willingness to follow instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Team oriented, positive attitude, and dependable.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/ski
- Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiply projects simultaneously and delegate assignments to others
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 55 pounds
- Involves physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities and standing for long periods of time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
