ASE, Inside Sales Layered Apps
We have an immediate opening available for a Lightspeed Inside Sales Representative – Layered Applications. This is an outstanding entry-level Inside Sales role, with the opportunity to grow! In this position, you will be responsible for generating Layered Application sales opportunities through proactive calls to existing customers. You will also be assigned special projects to call on based on the need of the department. You will achieve an annual assigned sales plan, working under the guidance of the Sales Manager. Excellent sales skills with highly proficient communications skills are needed - Have the freedom to use your skills to build relationships and identify exciting opportunities within Lightspeed! This position is considered remote with the occasional travel to our corporate office in Salt Lake City, or potentially to industry trade shows.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Make outbound sales calls to sell layered applications to an existing customer base
- Direct and assist customers that have needs outside of sales-oriented questions
- Consult with existing customers to find out their business needs and how CDK’s products can help resolve or manage their business needs
- Communicate with field and account representative sales reps on a regular basis and support them as needed
- The main responsibility will be sell smaller Lightspeed applications and generate other sales leads
- Other duties as assigned
- 1-year previous sales experience desired
- 1-year previous phone sales experience or other heavy phone work desired
- Knowledge of Motorcycle, RV and Marine industries a significant advantage
- Knowledge of finance/insurance and technology industries a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed
- Must be self-motivated, detail orientated and work well in a team environment
- Must be proactive and open to learning and trying new sales techniques
- PC literate with knowledge of Windows-based applications and hardware: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Willingness to travel up to four times a year to tradeshows and Salt Lake Corporate office
- Type 35 + words per minute
