Apprentice Broadband Technician

The Frankfort Plant Board has an opening for a full-time Apprentice Broadband Technician. The successful candidate, under direct direction, performs cable-telecommunications system maintenance and preventive maintenance including troubleshooting, repair service and provide emergency service.
Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 4 years’ related experience and/or training. NCTI Digital Installer certification or equivalent. Required/Certificates of training for Digital Cable, Telephone, Cable Modem Installation, and Computer Operations or equivalent is required. Must possess and maintain a valid Kentucky driver’s license. Must be able to respond to emergencies at all hours.
We offer $21.86 hourly, plus an excellent benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and membership in the KY Retirement System.
