FULL TIME DAY SHIFT Aerospace Quality Tech – reports to the Director of Quality and Safety ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all general quality department inspections utilizing the equipment provided.
Perform all necessary documentation of inspection activities.
Assist production personnel with departmental inspections.
Issue, maintain, and retrieve all inspection equipment as needed by inspection and production personnel.
Generate necessary reports regarding product inspections including final inspection reports, certificates of compliance, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
Implement statistical process control tools and report as needed.
Lead Corrective Action teams as directed by the Quality Engineer.
Advocate and execute job duties as stated in Quality Management system.
Manage / Maintain Calibration Control.
In the event of lack of work or another department needing assistance, may be asked to do any of the following but not limited to: Cleaning, Gage Management, In-process inspection of ongoing production parts or other related duties in a manufacturing setting.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
3 + years of experience.
GED/High School Diploma.
2-year advanced education-in-trade (Preferred).
Must be proficient in MS Excel.
Proficient user of aerospace job shop ERP software.
Experienced with GD&T.
Proficient operating Net-Inspect.
Proficient at equipment calibrating.
Expert interpreting prints and flow down requirements.
