Administrative Director- Stephenson Pancreatic Cancer Research

The Stephenson Pancreatic Cancer Research (SPCR) LLC Administrative Director will oversee the successful administration of the Stephenson Prize, which includes organizing the annual Stephenson Symposium, facilitating the awarding of the Stephenson Laureate and Fellowships, and managing SPCR LLC's operational initiatives aimed at catalyzing scientific discovery in the fight against pancreatic cancer. As the primary administrative leader, the Administrative Director will collaborate closely with the Pancreatic Research Director to ensure the effective execution and growth of all Prize-related activities. Additionally, this position will facilitate preparation for the Stephenson Scientific Advisory Board (SSAB) meetings, manage the grant RFA and awards process, and oversee financial reporting and symposium planning. The Administrative Director reports to the Executive Director of SPCR LLC. As a successful candidate, you will:
Develop and implement the strategic roadmap, setting clear goals, timelines, and performance metrics for all initiatives.
Manage the day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring that all programs and activities align with the strategic goals and are executed effectively.
Manage the logistics and execution of the Stephenson Prize activities, including the annual Stephenson Symposium, Laureate, and Fellowships.
Track progress against strategic objectives and operational goals, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
Develop and manage the budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources to support strategic goals.
Oversee the grant RFA and award processes, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and alignment with strategic priorities.
Mitigate financial and operational risks, escalating as appropriate to Executive Director and SPCR, LLC Board of Directors, ensuring that all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices.
Lead efforts to enhance the brand and public profile, ensuring that the Stephenson Prize is recognized as a leading award in pancreatic cancer research.
Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to promote activities, including the Stephenson Symposium, Laureate, and Fellowships.
Coordinate and facilitate meetings of the Stephenson Scientific Advisory Board (SSAB), ensuring productive discussions and effective decision-making.
Oversee the operations of the Prize Committee, ensuring timely and accurate administration of the Stephenson Prize selection process.
Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor’s degree, in business administration, public health, healthcare administration or related fields.
Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in an administrative leadership role. (research or healthcare setting).
Overseeing Large Scale programs, including:
Financial oversight,
Operations,
Stakeholder Management,
Grant/ Price administration.
