Account Executive

Award-winning stock market and investing publisher is hiring an Sales Consultant to join the Cincinnati-based company. The salesperson will be a member of the elite and expanding sales team, working directly with high net-worth individual investors and retail traders. Qualified candidates must have a proven sales record, exceptional oral communication skills, and above-average motivation.
Schaeffer’s Investment Research was founded in 1981 and we have been providing stock and options trading recommendations, options education, and market commentary to retail traders for over 40 years, through our subscription services and our award-winning website, www.schaeffersresearch.com. Our specialization in options trading combined with our owner and founder, Bernie Schaeffer, being an internationally-recognized guru in the investing industry is what makes us so unique. Our subscription business is multi-faceted, including interactive marketing combined with a live sales team. In the ever-changing world of of the stock market, Schaeffer’s Investment Research is constantly developing and working to optimize our model to provide the ultimate customer experience.
Responsibilities
  • Conducts professional inbound and outbound communication with existing subscribers to enhance customer reengagement and drive revenue.
  • Develops strong positive rapport to facilitate a high rate of positive reviews following interactions.
  • Makes a high number of outbound calls to existing Schaeffer’s subscribers.
  • Pitches front-end marketing offers to customers who would not have received the promotion due to being non-promotable. Front-end products sold will range in price from $95-$295 per unit.
  • Answers inbound calls as needed to assist subscribers who have specific inquiries and convert them into positive reviews and potentially front-end buyers, too.
  • Improves knowledge of Schaeffer’s products, systems, and customer-facing resources consistently.
  • Manages time effectively, work to achieve personal and company goals, and work effectively with other members of the sales and customer service teams.
Requirements
  • Possesses proven expertise in sales, with strong written and oral communication skills, or strong desire to master the art of selling
  • Adapts and learns new sales skills and closing techniques quickly
  • Manages time effectively to ensure all sales opportunities are optimized
  • Proactively approaches all obstacles with an optimistic, opportunistic, and goal-oriented attitude
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, reward-driven environment
  • Has a strong desire to learn more about the stock market, especially stock options, as the market is currently thriving with record-setting volumes of new traders joining the market in 2020
