The Opportunity: This position is for a A Shift Process Technician depending on experience. The hours are Monday - Wednesday 5:00AM - 5:00PM, work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours. This is an hourly position that does not involve direct management of people. In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Manager. Your focus will be to troubleshoot process problems, and audit processes.
BACKGROUND REQUIRED:
Reading, writing, and math skills adequate for following written instructions and completing required documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to train employees on process operations
High school diploma/GED preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Standard knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist for up to 12-hour shift
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously
Ability to accurately use and read various measuring devices
Self-motivated with problem solving knowledge and ability
Ability to obtain Forklift Certification
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
Follow standardized work instructions
Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
Process monitoring, auditing normal production runs on the floor and documenting as required.
Process improvements, adjusting the processes as needed to improve the quality and productivity of the production floor.
Training assistance, helping new operators understand the processes in a way that makes their jobs easier.
Process Development, create new processes that maintain and promote growth and forward movement.
Production auditing, ensure the workflow is efficient per the work standard, improve as needed.
Daily Documentation, maintain daily communication, both verbal and written of tasks and assignments.
Equipment assistance, assist with changeovers and machine repairs as needed.
Pass down, communicate all issues with process, training and safety throughout the shift to all managers, supervisors and leads.
Process Standard work, complete process standard work during shift and distribute to all at shift end.
5S, maintain a clean and well-organized workstation that promotes productivity and efficiency.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
