We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant & Furniture Installer to join the Sharp team in Dundee.

In this role you will assist the Operations Manager with goods receipt, storage, and dispatch. Prepare and organise furniture and accessories prior to delivery. Installation and assembly of furniture for customers. Liaise with colleagues and customers regarding delivery requirements.
If you are a highly reliable and hardworking individual with the practical skills to assemble furniture and a driving license ( for driving van) we are keen to hear from you. A professional approach is essential you will be on site with customers. Willingness to travel, primarily in Scotland but with some trips further afield requiring overnight stays.
Responsibilities:
· Manage goods inward and outward
· Unloading of suppliers/company vehicles at warehouse or onsite
· Inspection of goods for damage and checking quantities
· Delivery of goods to site and onsite distribution of furniture to specific rooms or area
· Assembly of furniture when required and layout to customer specific plans/needs
· Problem solving, as and when they arise
· Good inhouse and onsite housekeeping
· Removal and recycling of all packaging
· Maintenance of company vehicles
Requirements
Must be flexible, adaptable, and willing individual with a strong work ethic
Must have good manual dexterity
Ability to use hand tools
Good communication skills
Basic computer skills
Strong team player who will collaborate with colleagues/managers and customers
Can work under own initiative and to job deadlines
