Join our Tax Compliance Academy – a two-year, structured development programme within our Corporate Tax Compliance team. You’ll join this fast paced role with a cohort of peers and together you’ll gain a strong understanding of corporate tax and develop transferable skills to become a Corporate Tax Compliance professional. After the programme, you will continue your career at Pw C.
The role can be based at one of four locations: Belfast, Manchester, Birmingham, or Watford. You’ll be office based with colleagues and may need to travel for training, especially in the initial months. This role requires office attendance 5 days a week. The nature of the Tax Compliance Academy means that we cannot support working from home in the initial stages. We promote flexibility and inclusion and are open to discussions about individual circumstances that may make this challenging.
This role will open on Monday 9th September. We will review applications on a rolling basis so please submit your application as soon as possible. We expect the role to close on Friday 27th September however, if we have enough successful applications before then we may close sooner.
What your days will look like:
Alongside the wider team and your peers you will prepare corporate tax calculations and tax returns for a variety of clients. All companies must pay corporation tax on their profits - you’ll help our clients calculate what they should pay and prepare the necessary documentation.
Focused training sessions including on the job shadowing, learning and coaching. You will attend a series of structured technical training sessions that will build your Tax technical knowledge and skills required to prepare Tax computations.

No previous Tax experience or qualifications are required to apply for the Tax Compliance Academy. We’re looking for individuals who have developed relevant skills through previous work experience - which may or may not be in a professional services setting.

If your initial application is successful, you will be invited complete an online assessment
If you pass the online assessment, you will be invited to complete a telephone interview with the recruitment team.
If you pass the telephone interview you will be invited to a final face to face interview with members of the Tax Compliance team.
If you are successful at this final interview stage you will be offered a place on the Tax Compliance Academy and you will join Pw C in January 2025.
