We are looking to appoint a Commissioning and Contracts Officer to join our central Commissioning Team in Social Care.
This permanent role is suitable for you if you would like to develop your career in commissioning, procurement and contracting within social care. You will play a critical role in delivering a range of services to meet the needs of our communities, promoting continuous improvement and ensuring compliance.
The role will entail driving specific commissioning programmes, procurement and contract letting activities across adults and/ or children, supporting the delivery of high quality, value for money services. You will proactively manage contractual arrangements, evidencing performance through regular reviewing to ensure our services meet the needs of our communities, making best use of our finite resources, ensuring outcome focused and value based commissioning is achieved.
We are looking for an organised, reliable and efficient individual with good communication skills, attention to detail and ability to drive specific projects and meet key deadlines. You will be working independently as well as part of a team, collaborating with providers, partner agencies, families and colleagues within social care.
