Azenta Life Sciences, specialises in the design, manufacture and marketing of consumables and bench top instrumentation for the life sciences industry.

Developing a range of innovative products for PCR & sequencing, imaging, plate sealing, liquid handling, forensic and NGS sample processing.

Job Purpose:

The Shipping Coordinator is tasked with supporting timely turnaround of products, manufactured and procured. To provide logistics support in organising courier and freight shipments, both within UK, EU and Rest of world.

Key Responsibilities:

Booking all parcel shipments

Handling shipments for all returns by confirming on system database for credit approval(s).

Handling Export shipping compliance

Booking all freight/pallets

Raising commercial invoices

Sourcing and documenting quotes for freight + linking to customer invoices

Handling weekly shipment consolidation for key clients

Delivery date maintenance and due date chasing

Running Stock and backlog reports daily

Updating excel spreadsheets

Tasks related to continuous improvement activities

Qualifications & Experience:

Strong work ethic and organizational skills.

Previous experience in Shipping and Logistics

Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential To The Role

The role requires you to work within a team and on your own

Good IT skills

Excellent attention to detail
