Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and preparing sauces.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Upsell additional items to customers, enhancing their overall experience.
• Perform basic maths calculations for portioning ingredients and managing stock levels.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is preferred.
• A strong understanding of food safety practices is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting are crucial.
• A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills will be highly regarded.
