We are looking for a talented Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker with experience in kitchen cabinetry to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in joinery and cabinet making, with a specific focus on kitchens. You’ll be creating custom cabinets and units to meet client specifications, ensuring that each piece is crafted to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
Cabinet Production & Assembly: Build and assemble custom kitchen cabinets, drawers, and specialty units according to design specifications.
Precision Cutting and Shaping: Accurately cut, shape, and join a variety of materials, including solid wood, laminates, and veneers, using power and hand tools.
Finishing Touches: Sand, finish, and install hardware to achieve a polished, professional look on all cabinetry.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations.
Design Collaboration: Work closely with designers to understand specific project requirements and provide insights on feasibility.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workshop.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar role within the woodworking industry.
Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and cabinet assembly processes.
Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Capability to perform heavy lifting as part of the job requirements.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
