Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker with experience in kitchen cabinetry to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in joinery and cabinet making, with a specific focus on kitchens. You’ll be creating custom cabinets and units to meet client specifications, ensuring that each piece is crafted to the highest standard.
Responsibilities

• Cabinet Production & Assembly: Build and assemble custom kitchen cabinets, drawers, and specialty units according to design specifications.
• Precision Cutting and Shaping: Accurately cut, shape, and join a variety of materials, including solid wood, laminates, and veneers, using power and hand tools.
• Finishing Touches: Sand, finish, and install hardware to achieve a polished, professional look on all cabinetry.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations.
• Design Collaboration: Work closely with designers to understand specific project requirements and provide insights on feasibility.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workshop.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar role within the woodworking industry.
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and cabinet assembly processes.
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as part of the job requirements.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
