Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs
• Effectively sell products through upselling techniques while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring that products are well-displayed and stocked.
• Handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills to process payments and refunds.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking shelves as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store.
• Demonstrate time management skills by prioritising tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic maths proficiency for handling transactions accurately.
• A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 24 per week
Schedule:

• Overtime

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
