Your Responsibilities:
  • Child-Centered Care: Provide confident, compassionate support to our young people, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standards of care.
  • Teamwork: Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people, working collaboratively with your team.
  • Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively support young people and liaise with your team.
  • Driving: Hold a full manual driver’s license, essential for the role.
  • Empathy and Integrity: Exhibit high levels of empathy and integrity in all aspects of your work.
  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 21 years old, as all colleagues must be at least three years older than our oldest young person.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a support work environment, with a strong understanding of safeguarding practices.
  • Qualifications: QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) is preferred.
  • Up-to-Date DBS: While an up-to-date DBS on the Update Service is preferred, we can apply and pay for an updated version on your behalf.
