We are looking to recruit two enthusiastic individuals who are keen in work in our inpatient therapy team helping patients in the acute hospital setting.
Applications are sought from individuals who are committed to providing high quality patient care, have excellent communication skills and can demonstrate the ability to cope in a range of busy and challenging environments.
You will be joining a team who provide high quality patient focused care and will be required to work within a busy ward environment. Training for this role will be provided to support your development through supervision, competency training and in service training.
The successful candidates will be required to work with patients with a variety of different presentations that can include:
Elderly frail patients who require therapy to support them to regain their independence.
Patients who have become acutely unwell and require therapy to support their recovery.
Patients who have fallen and may have broken bones.

The role involves carrying out treatment plans, as directed by a therapist, and supporting patients to wash and dress, be able to transfer in and out of bed and to walk. You would be required to collect basic information from patients, report to the therapist, provide equipment and work as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
