Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Production Operative to work in a busy, manufacturing facility. As the role will incorporate a range of duties within a manufacturing area, the successful candidate will require a high level of flexibility and be able to work on their own initiative on a diverse range of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Production Manager and liaising with other Departments, be a part of an award winning team engaged in innovation from concept through prototyping to manufacturing and commercial reality with the objective of achieving product leadership in each country the company operates.
• Carry out various duties outlined under Specific Duties.
• Take appropriate action to maintain or improve relationships with all customers.
• Other duties as directed.

Specific Duties:

• To assemble and carry out tasks on the production line for the company product range, Integrated Work Stations, etc.
• Reconditioning units.
• Stock Control-to ensure that all parts and components are carefully recorded on internal databases.
• Quality Control-testing components and products, ensuring zero defects.
• Packaging-packing units before delivery.
• Responsible for preparing orders and deliveries in and out.
• Assist with exhibitions i.e. loading vans, building exhibition stands, etc.
• Regular stock checks and re-ordering.
• Completing daily paperwork
• Liaising with forwarding agents for shipping quotes.
• Booking orders online on the forwarding agents portals.

Requirements:

• Being able to work in a quick accurate, efficient manner.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Being willing and able to learn practices involving all aspects of the production.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Must be computer literate.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
