Cooneen Group have a requirement for a Product Implementation Co-Ordinator, based at our Fivemiletown production facility. The incumbent will be responsible for the implementation process of clothing and armoury products, whilst liaising with the Offshore Production Technologist and production team. Responsibilities
Schedule and monitor the implementation of products working closely with the Technical & Design Coordinators, Mobilisation Manager and Offshore Production Technologist.
To support the implementation process, understanding the product following contract award, collating relevant documentation for each product, such as Factory Packs, Pattern placements, Cutting Lists, Zip Guides, Elastic Guides, Finished Garment Measuring tables, and Rating accuracy against approved sample
Work closely with the Technical & Design Coordinators/Product Design Engineers to understand the key information required within the technical spec and be responsible for producing the specifications to match product design.
Review the bill of materials against the sample and advise the Technical & Design Coordinators if discrepancies need highlighted so archived information can be updated.
Where relevant, liaise with the production team to understand and provide complete breakdown of production set up costs per product, if a new process and/or equipment needs implemented.
Take ownership of the Pre-Production Sample Archive for the business. Store and label samples.
Liaise with the Offshore Production Technologist/Mobilisation Manager to prepare for gold seal/pre-production samples to be manufactured against the spec to test that all information is clear and understood.
Chase samples from factories and update Sample Tracker spreadsheet. Once received, tag all samples into the business and store in the dedicated area.
To understand technical production issues through regular communications with the Offshore Production Technologist, seeking feedback and reporting back any issues to the Pattern Technologist team, Marker production team and Technical & Design Co-ordinators. All issues must be closed out in a timely manner.
Investigate quality issues that may arise from customers or factory complaints and report back to the Quality Department on findings.

Experienced in the use of MS Office, particularly MS Word & Excel.
Has previous experience in garment manufacturing, dealing with factories and suppliers.
Good understanding of garment/pattern construction.
HND/Degree or relevant experience in a design or clothing discipline.
An ability to demonstrate equivalent work-related experience.
Desirable
Experience of Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of the Gerber pattern software.
QC experience of garments & fabric.
Experience of uniforms/PPE.
Qualification in pattern construction or can demonstrate relevant work experience in this area.
