The Role
We are seeking a Procurement Team Lead to lead our commercial product procurement team here at Almac Clinical Services. Almac Clinical Services designs and delivers bespoke packaging and logistical solutions for pharmaceutical companies conducting small or large clinical trials for the treatment of a range of diseases and illnesses. We ensure that a supply of clinical material is delivered across the globe to meet the needs of those patients enrolled in a trial, helping to improve patient lives daily. The commercial product procurement team is responsible for sourcing commercially licensed medicinal products to be used within these trials.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of procurement specialists and administrators to deliver cost competitive source and supply solutions to meet customer study requirements. You will also lead on managing supplier relationships effective to ensure the delivery of an efficient, proactive and value-for-money service.

Previous experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry is not essential. We are looking for experienced procurement professionals with experience of managing or supervising teams, who can bring their passion, enthusiasm and experience to our industry. We will provide the training and support required to help you succeed in your new role.
