About The Role
Join Our Team as a Prescription Coordinator!
Are you detail-oriented, conscientious, and passionate about patient care? Do you have a knack for accuracy and a strong understanding of prescription processing? If so, we’d love to welcome you to our Prescription Services Team, where accuracy and teamwork drive exceptional service for our patients.
As a Prescription Building Coordinator, you’ll be an essential part of our mission to deliver medications safely and efficiently. Your expertise in processing, compliance, and collaboration will support our pharmacy operations and ensure patients receive timely, accurate care.
What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Accurate Prescription Management: Process patient prescriptions according to our established guidelines, prioritising cases based on urgency and ensuring every detail is spot-on. You’ll handle returned prescriptions and create orders using system data as available.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Keep patient safety at the forefront by ensuring each prescription meets all regulatory standards. Adhere to Good Documentation Practices and accurately input prescription information into our system.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with our Screening Pharmacist team, Pharmacy Services, and other departments to resolve queries and streamline workflows, enhancing the efficiency of our operations.

About You
About You:
  • Experience in Healthcare Environments: You bring valuable experience from a Pharmacy or Hospital setting and have a solid understanding of GPh C regulations on valid prescriptions and dispensing practices.
  • Detail-Oriented: Your keen eye for detail ensures accuracy in every prescription, helping us uphold the highest standards of patient safety.
  • Focused and Thorough: You excel at concentrating on tasks, maintaining precision even during extended periods of work.
  • Collaborative and Supportive: You enjoy being part of a team, working together to solve challenges, and are happy to assist and train new team members.
  • Proactive and Organized: You take a methodical approach, quickly spotting and addressing errors, and you’re not afraid to ask questions to clarify and improve.
