Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. Your commitment to patient care and medication administration will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and enhancing the health outcomes of our community.
Duties

Accurately prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptions provided by healthcare professionals.
Conduct thorough checks to ensure the correct medication, dosage, and patient information are adhered to.
Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies.
Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications and offering guidance on proper usage.
Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and assist with stock management to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy operations.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medication administration processes and patient care practices is essential.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are crucial for maintaining accuracy in dispensing medications.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
A commitment to continuous professional development within the pharmacy sector is advantageous.

Pay: £11.77-£12.13 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
Schedule:
