PART TIME & TEMPORARY

We have a position available for a :
Part-Time Pharmacy Dispensary Assistant for 9 to 12 months with potential for a full-time contract.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Assist in preparation of Prescriptions and delivery of professional services;
Assist Pharmacist in providing an efficient, accurate and safe dispensing service in store, ensuring patient confidentiality;
Assist Pharmacist with other dispensary related tasks e.g. orders, date checks, receiving prescriptions etc;
Assist in the preparation of home deliveries;
Assist on the medicines counter when required;
Stock maintenance;
Retail duties as and when required;
Provide exceptional customer service;
Maintain professional standards of dress and grooming;
General housekeeping;
Retail and other duties as required;
Training will be provided.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Have an interest in Pharmacy and Dispensing;
Previous relevant experience in a similar working environment;
Be hard working and enthusiastic and able to work under pressure;
Demonstrate exceptional customer service;
Demonstrate exceptional communication skills;
Have the ability to work as part of a team;
Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy;
Must be flexible in working days / hours to fit in with the rota;
Flexible to work 3-5 days between Monday to Saturday;
Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grades A to C;
Eligibility to work in UK.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
Previous relevant dispensary experience an advantage;
NPA Interact qualification or equivalent recognised qualification and/or
NPA Dispensary Assistants qualification or equivalent recognised qualification or be willing to complete this qualification;
Good understanding of Professional Services.

HOURS:
Working 3 to 5 days / 24 to 40 hours per week Monday to Saturday as per shop rota, and additional hours as required e.g to cover holidays
