Slamannan Village Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, hardworking and reliable full-time Pharmacy Dispenser or Technician to expand our current team. We have been a family owned independent pharmacy for over 30 years with a well staffed team who cares about our patients and provides quality healthcare to the local community.
As a rural village Pharmacy we have an excellent relationship with local GP surgeries and a free delivery service across the Braes. We are located around a 15 minute drive from Falkirk and the same from Cumbernauld.
Your main responsibilities will be to assist with the efficient running of the dispensary. Pharmacy experience is essential and applicants would ideally have completed an accredited SVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) Dispensing Assistant or Technician qualification or be currently working towards this. Qualification evidence will need to be supplied at interview. If you have worked in Pharmacy before but not completed a qualification feel free to get in touch. Competent with Analyst PMR system would be ideal but not necessary.
The right candidate will be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organised and passionate about helping people. A can-do attitude and a desire to be involved in service delivery or pursuing future training would also be of interest and supported.
This full-time role is 41.25 hours per week working Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch. For the right candidate part time hours would be considered- please provide your availability alongside your application. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience and qualification. You won’t feel like another number as part of our lovely team with a sponsored meal at Christmas and the Pharmacist owner around to support where needed. We have an experienced Pharmacist Manager and regular locums some of whom have worked with us for over 20 years.
