Location: Northern Ireland Shifts: Various shifts, 5 out of 7 days, based on a roster Salary: £11.44 - £15.00 per hour (depending on site and location) As a Mobile Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of multiple static and retail sites throughout Northern Ireland while also ensuring continuity of service to our clients. Working on a rotational shift pattern, you will be responsible for conducting patrols, managing access control, responding to incidents, and maintaining security systems. This role requires flexibility, vigilance, and the ability to respond quickly to changing security needs, including covering shifts on short notice if required to locations throughout the province. Key Responsibilities
Patrol and Surveillance
Conduct regular patrols of assigned sites to deter and detect unauthorised activities.
Ensure all areas of the premises are secure.
Incident Response and Reporting
Document and report any incidents such as suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards.
Respond to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies.
Access Control
Manage access control, allowing entry only to authorised personnel.
Verify the identity of visitors and contractors, and maintain accurate entry and exit logs.
Communication and Coordination
Maintain clear and effective communication with other security personnel and management on-site.
Maintenance of Security Systems
Regularly check alarms, cameras, and access control systems to ensure they are fully operational.
Report any equipment malfunctions to the relevant maintenance teams for prompt resolution.
Short-Notice Cover
Be prepared to provide short-notice cover at any of the sites if required.
Following retail security requirements
Always adhering to the ASCONE Procedure.
Conducting regular patrols throughout the store.
Assisting the in-store team with various tasks as required.
Skills required
SIA License (Door Supervision or Security Guard) – Essential.
Full Driving License – Essential.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, bank holidays and both day & night duties
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during high-pressure situations.
