Position Details/Background:
The successful candidate will be able to deliver excellent management accounting teaching to specialist finance and general business management students, and pursue innovative accounting and finance or pedagogic research and scholarship.
Queen Margaret Business School currently delivers a number of highly successful programmes in Business, Accounting and Finance on campus, online, as well as at a number of locations around the world, including India, Nepal, Greece and Uzbekistan. These programmes are thriving, and demand for these programmes is growing year on year.
The primary purpose of this role is to work with an established team of professional and academic colleagues to provide high quality learning and teaching on campus, online and support to these partnerships. In particular, the role holder will be required to offer subject specific advice and guidance on the delivery and development of these programmes, ideally based on relevant accounting and finance industry insight and/or experience. Several of these programmes will be undergoing periodic review or are rolling out for the first time in 2024/25, and it is expected that the role holder will make a significant contribution to the routine operational and quality management of our Accounting and Finance provision as well as develop new module teaching and learning materials.
