Prepare samples in line with laboratory procedures.
Undertake basic laboratory testing as required.
Order consumables/reagents as required to ensure adequate stocks are maintained.
Ensure quality records are maintained in line with laboratory requirements. This includes laboratory notebooks, reference standard spreadsheet, labelling of reagents/standards and AQC preparation records.
Maintain housekeeping standards.
Comply with H&S requirements. Report H&S issues to senior management.
About you
Have a keen interest in Chemistry, with a Science based degree or equivalent.
Good time management skills, attention to detail and ability to cope under pressure.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, seeking advice where necessary.
Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
