Overall job purpose
The role of the AONB's Assistant Project Officer is to work closely with local communities, landowners / land managers, contractors and volunteers to ensure the special features are preserved, improved and promoted for the benefit of current and future generations. Central to achieving the above will be the need to align with the seven well-being goals, sustainable development principles (the five ways of working) through the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015; and sustainable management of natural resources through the Environment (Wales) Act 2016.
