Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled IPAF Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating powered access equipment safely and efficiently. The IPAF Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Duties
Operate various types of powered access equipment, including cherry pickers and scissor lifts, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is safe and functional before use.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute tasks efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
Assist in training new operators on safe practices and equipment handling as required.
Experience
Valid IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification is essential.
Previous experience operating powered access equipment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to construction or industrial environments is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team environment.
