Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating CNC machinery. You will be responsible for fabricating components to precise specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the production process. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Solid Works, along with experience in tooling and basic maths, is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines and other related equipment to fabricate parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
Set up tooling and fixtures for production runs, ensuring all equipment is calibrated correctly.
Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
Maintain accurate records of production quantities and any adjustments made during the manufacturing process.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in CNC machinery is advantageous.
Strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to read technical drawings.
Basic maths skills are required for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
Previous experience in a warehouse setting may be beneficial for understanding material handling processes.
