Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredients and supplies needed for production.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing offerings.
- Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained after use.
- Proven experience in food production or a similar role within a restaurant or culinary environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
