We are seeking a dedicated Experienced Part TimeFront of House Team member to join our team at Mr Mac Gregor's restaurant located in Netherlee. Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests with a genuine smile, creating a positive first impression of our restaurant. - Guide guests through the menu, making recommendations and accommodating dietary preferences or restrictions. - Take accurate and detailed food and drinks orders, entering them efficiently into the POS system. - Serve dishes and prepare and serve drinks with care, paying attention to presentation and ensuring guest satisfaction. - Respond promptly and knowledgeably to guest inquiries about the menu, specials, and help guide guests with your knowledge of different cuts of steak and how they are cooked. - Maintain a clean and organised dining area, set up tables, and assist with cleaning duties as needed. - Work collaboratively with kitchen and front of house staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. - Handle guest payments and process transactions accurately, following proper cash-handling procedures. - Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace. - Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about menu updates and service techniques. Requirements: - 1 year Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Barista and bartending skills are also required. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere. - Strong multitasking abilities, ensuring efficient service during busy times. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. - Enthusiasm to learn about our menu offerings and provide guests with an exceptional dining experience.
