We are a flat pack furniture assembly company serving all of Northern Ireland, and we are currently expanding our network of self-employed installers.
We are seeking a self employed skilled Joiner or someone who has a strong background working with kitchens or bedroom furniture installation to join our team covering the Central & North of the country assembling flat pack furniture (mostly ikea). The ideal candidate will have expertise in carpentry and joinery, using both power and hand tools to assemble flat pack furniture in both residential and commercial spaces.
Areas Covered: Belfast , Antrim, Ballyclare , Coleraine, Portrush, Derry L’derry
Duties:
- Manage your workload out on the road, following your job schedule diary from one job to another.
- Assemble and install a variety of furniture items such as fitted wardrobes, desks, chairs, cabinets, and shelving unit & more
- Ensure all furniture is securely installed and aligned properly (fixed to wall if necessary)
- Follow assembly instructions and blueprints accurately
- Inspect furniture for any defects or damages before installation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Joiner or strong background in kitchens, bedrooms or ikea installations.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise measure & installation
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients
- Good driver with a maximum of 3 penalty points
-Be at least 25 years old
-Trustworthy and willing to above and beyond for customers.
- Experience in wall panelling is advantageous but not essential.
-Must be registered or be willing to register self employed (provide UTR number)
-Must have public liability insurance (can help arrrange this)
-Must be able to pass a criminal background check & drug and alcohol test.

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability (always OT available)

Experience :

• Joinery: 2 year (preferred)
• Kitchen/ bedroom/ IKEA installer : 2 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Ability to pass background check (access NI)
• Driving Licence (required) (no more than 3 penalty points)

Work Location: On the road (start & finish at your home, no reporting to office
