Overview: Packing Operatives (Multiple Vacancies)
Humdinger, Sherburn-in-Elmet

Interviews will take place at 2pm on Thursday 12th September 2024.

Position type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40

Pay range: £11.49

Breaks: x1 30-minute breaks and x2 15-minute break

Shift Pattern:

12-hour days and nights. You will work the below pattern:

Week 1: Sunday to Tuesday 18:00 - 06:00 (3 nights followed by 5 days off)

Week 2: Monday to Tuesday 06:00 - 18:00 & Wednesday to Thursday 18:00 - 06:00 (2 days followed by 2 nights followed by 5 days off)

Week 3: Wednesday to Friday 06:00 - 18:00 (followed by 1 day off, then start again on week 1)

Responsibilities:

Supporting Machine Operators by packing bagged products into boxes.
Weighing products.
Completing documents such as daily packing sheets.
Manual handling and lifting, involving tasks like picking, packing, and various production duties.
While receiving support from your Team Leader, the role also demands a degree of independence.
In the first few weeks, you will be trained in Level 2 Food Safety, Allergen Awareness and gain many other new training certificates.

Qualifications:

We're in search of committed team players. While prior experience in a food or similar factory environment is beneficial, we encourage discussions with all candidates eager to be part of the Humdinger team.
