Farm Labourer / Pressure washer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team on a working pig and arable farm based between Aberdeen and Ellon. Carrying out pressure washing and pig handling to maintain the welfare and hygiene requirements of our animals. The role has become available due to retirement of a long term member of staff.
The role requires working both as a team and as an individual with drive to complete tasks to a high standard and communicate effectively. The role is part of the farm routine, with set jobs for each day.
This role will be tailored around the right person, to ensure they are happy with the role and can support us in making the business better. We are open to part time or flexible working ours as long as they are set for each week.
Responsibilities

Operate pressure washing equipment safely and efficiently to clean various rooms within the farm with most work carried out in a warm and weather proof environment.
Moving pigs out of rooms before carrying out cleaning.
A positive mind set which allows a good relationship with the team already working within the farm.
Maintain equipment in good working order by performing routine checks and reporting any issues promptly.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Experience

Previous experience in pressure washing or a related field is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication skills in English.
A willingness to learn new techniques and improve skills within the role.

Pay: £24,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
