Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Farm Worker to join our team on our 300 cow dairy farm, to work 3 days a week including alternate weekends. There is the possibility of extra hours if desired. Duties to include milking and tractor/general farm work.
Duties:
- Helping with day to day tasks such as scraping, bedding and feeding.
- Assisting with tasks such as TB testing, sorting cows, spotting lameness and illness and calving.
- Assisting with calf rearing
- Tractor work to include slurry spreading, feeder wagon and operation of a telehandler.
- Assisting with milking in our 32:32 herringbone as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in farm work or a related field is essential.
