*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. Your ability to upsell menu items and manage time effectively will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. *Responsibilities* - Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. - Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. - Take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff. - Upsell additional items such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction. - Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining quality standards. - Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, providing prompt service and addressing any concerns. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. - Adhere to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times. - Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed in the kitchen. *Requirements* - Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. - Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary knowledge is advantageous. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. - Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. - Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
