Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Multi-drop Delivery Driver to join our team in Paisley.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations.
This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and effective communication with both customers and warehouse staff.
Full background check will be conducted.
The role is full time, Monday to Friday (8-10 am to 5-6pm).
Rate: 16.77£ per hour
Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and customer signatures.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or queries professionally.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred but not essential.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving license
• Familiarity with commercial driving practices and regulations is advantageous.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial for understanding logistics operations.
• Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the role is required.
