Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driving licence and have experience in commercial driving, particularly with refrigeration lorries. This role involves delivering goods efficiently to various shops through the route.
Duties

• Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the purpose of delivering goods to various locations.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, maintaining the integrity of the products.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Proven experience as a commercial driver.
• A valid 7.5 tonne driving licence is essential.
• Familiarity with delivery routes and logistics is advantageous But not necessary as full training will be provided.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
