We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driving licence and have experience in commercial driving, particularly with refrigeration lorries. This role involves delivering goods efficiently to various shops through the route.
Duties
- Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the purpose of delivering goods to various locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, maintaining the integrity of the products.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience as a commercial driver.
- A valid 7.5 tonne driving licence is essential.
- Familiarity with delivery routes and logistics is advantageous But not necessary as full training will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00 per year
