As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring the store's operational excellence, and contributing to sales growth. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for the drinks trade, and the ability to thrive in a retail environment. TheSales Assistant will report to the Branch Supervisor and Branch Manager. Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence:
Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers in making well-informed purchasing decisions.
Customer Engagement:
Actively interact with customers, offering product recommendations and providing in-depth product knowledge.
Event and Promotion Assistance:
Aid in in-shop events and sales promotions to boost store traffic and increase sales.
Adherence to Company Standards:
Ensure the store complies with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Visual Merchandising:
Contribute to efforts in visual merchandising to create an appealing and well-organised store layout.
Inventory Maintenance:
Collaborate with the team to uphold inventory accuracy and prevent stock shortages.
Sales Target Achievement:
Work collectively with the team to meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Additional Info, Salary, and Benefits This is a Zero hour part-time post. We are offering an hourly rate of £12. A Group Bonus Scheme exists based on trading performance. Staff have the opportunity for training (e.g., WSET) and attending industry events and festivals. We offer staff discounts on a large range of products and a workplace pension.
