We are now seeking a skilled Content Writer to join our team to help communicate the value and innovation we bring to the marketplace.
Role Overview:
The Content Writer will play a crucial role in crafting engaging, informative, and journalistic-style content that reflects the knowledge and expertise of The JANS Group and its affiliated businesses. You will be responsible for producing high-quality content that speaks to the diverse audiences of ETRUX, JANS Composites, JANS Modular, Bespoke, and blue MAC. This position will involve content creation for various channels, including blogs, websites, newsletters, press releases, social media, and industry publications.
Key Responsibilities:

Write clear, engaging, and informative content across multiple platforms (websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, etc.) for all JANS Group businesses.
Develop a strong understanding of the company's products, services, and markets to produce authoritative and accurate content.
Collaborate with different departments (marketing, sales, R&D) to ensure content aligns with business objectives and brand guidelines.
Conduct thorough research and interviews with subject matter experts within the Group and externally to create credible, journalistic-style pieces.
Edit and proofread content to ensure it is well-structured, free of errors, and maintains the company’s tone of voice.
Monitor content performance and make recommendations for optimisation based on analytics.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.

Person Specification:
Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or Journalist, ideally within the manufacturing, technology, or B2B sectors.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt to different tones and styles.
Strong research skills and the ability to turn complex topics into clear, informative content.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Understanding of SEO and content optimisation strategies.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Word Press, Hub Spot) and social media platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Desirable:

Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
Experience writing for the manufacturing, automotive, construction, or modular industries.
Knowledge of content analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar.
