We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our team. Duties

• Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to recipes and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment.
• Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
• Help manage inventory by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment and enhance customer experience.
• Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and cash handling.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
• Basic maths skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in food preparation or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: £6.40-£11.42 per hour
