Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders in a friendly manner.
• Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed, and assisting with ordering when necessary.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring basic maths skills are applied for billing purposes.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
• Uphold high standards of customer service in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent time management skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding service.
