We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bartending and hospitality, with proven leadership skills to manage a team effectively. The Bar Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality in both beverage offerings and customer service while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding service and maintain high standards.
Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximise profitability.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during food production and preparation.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback and conducting performance reviews.
Organise special events and promotions to enhance the bar's visibility and attract new customers.
Skills
Proven experience in bartending with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
Strong leadership qualities, capable of inspiring and motivating staff in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food production processes, particularly in relation to bar snacks or light meals.
Experience supervising staff within a hospitality or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of bar management.
