Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bartending and hospitality, with proven leadership skills to manage a team effectively. The Bar Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality in both beverage offerings and customer service while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities

• Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding service and maintain high standards.
• Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximise profitability.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during food production and preparation.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback and conducting performance reviews.
• Organise special events and promotions to enhance the bar's visibility and attract new customers.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
• Strong leadership qualities, capable of inspiring and motivating staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food production processes, particularly in relation to bar snacks or light meals.
• Experience supervising staff within a hospitality or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of bar management.

Pay: Up to £12.40 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
