Bar Staff

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. If you have a passion for bartending and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service, we would love to hear from you.Applicants must be aged over 17yrs old! Be able to work evenings and weekends as required and be able to get home safe at night without being reliant on public transport

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding promptly to their needs.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
  • Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Understanding of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service is advantageous.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
  • Excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help colleagues and customers alike.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44-£11.93 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 24 per week
