Watermelon Catering is a locally owned hospitality company that operates 4 cafes in Aberdeen and 2 in Aberdeenshire along with a bake focused ice cream shop and street food venue.
We are on the look out for a part time baking assistant to work along side our team to bulk produce a mix of Classic cakes, Traybakes and Cookie products that will be distributed to our various venues.
Duties will include
· Following recipes closely with attention to detail
· Consistently producing high quality bakes
· Maintaining cleanliness and food hygiene standards in the kitchen
· Working alongside other bakers to fulfil and compile weekly orders
· Opportunity to be creative, brainstorm and create monthly ‘special’ bakes
· Being organized and productive
Working days are Monday & Tuesday but hours can be flexible. Approx. 16 hours per week. With possibility of extra hours working events or in one of our various venues.
Either experience or an interest in baking preferred but training could be given for the right individual.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 18 per week
