We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. Full time hours across a 4-day working week (Monday - Thursday). JOB PURPOSE To fit out, assemble and complete all associated works required to ensure that all equipment manufactured is correct, functional, safe to operate and built on time to specification and the relevant standards. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The main responsibilities of a Assembly Operative include:
Attend start of shift meetings lead by team leader/senior supervisor to ensure understanding of planned daily tasks.
Ensure you carry out all workmanship to the correct level and agreed delivery schedule.
Work as part of the team to achieve the targeted site efficiency levels.
Ensure team target of direct hour utilisation is met
Ensure all material supplied kitted is held in the kitted area and any anomalies are reported to line manager through correct process.
Ensure daily timesheet is completed accurately and at end of each shift to line manager.
Work with the site team to achieve an increasing trend or maintain Customer Satisfaction.
Participate in improvements in the workplace and be pro-active in improving production efficiency.
Feedback any hours improvements or hours deficit back to line manager for updating business.
Ensure all tasks are carried out to an acceptable level of workmanship and to the correct quality levels.
Ensure quality standards are followed and all documentation is correctly completed.
Ensure any Quality/procedural issue found during each task is raised through an NCR form and submitted to line manager.
