37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Glasgow Airport

What you’ll be doing

As our Air Import Agent you’ll play a significant role in overseeing the air import operations from our facility close to Glasgow Airport. Responsibilities will include:
Creating, managing and maintaining the movement of imported Air freight
Liaising with airlines and DHL offices for Air freight planning and coordination
Ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant
Adhering to Customs Compliance procedures and documentation
Being a customer point of contact for updates and addressing their enquiries
Liaising directly with Carriers and Handling Agents to resolve issues as they arise
Develop internal/external customer relations to grow existing business
Follow up on growth opportunities using Quoteshop

About you

Previous experience in the Freight Forwarding industry is essential for this role. You’ll also have:
Knowledge of exports/imports and related processes
Ideally experience with HMRC procedures
Office/administration experience
Strong organisation and communication skills
The ability to work cross-functionally and with multiple projects simultaneously
A high attention to detail and accuracy
